CAD-grade PDF markup

Snap. Constrain. Layer. It's CAD โ€” it just happens to be a PDF.

Real object snaps and orthographic constraints while you draw, on the drawing your team already has open. Then seal it, package it, and ship a stamped deliverable. All local, one flat price.

MarkupClaw treats a drawing PDF as something to draft on, not just annotate. Bluebeam is a reviewer's tool wearing a PDF; Acrobat is a document editor wearing a PDF. This is the one that snaps to your geometry.

Why teams switch: Bluebeam Revu runs $260โ€“440/yr per seat. MarkupClaw covers the daily 80% โ€” markup, measurement, page ops, layers โ€” and goes further on CAD snap, native layer export, and the sealed-deliverable pipeline. It reads and writes Bluebeam .mkup files, so you still exchange markups with Revu users.

What it does

Object snap locking to a beam endpoint on a structural drawing

Object snap, right on the sheet

Endpoint, midpoint, center, intersection, perpendicular, nearest โ€” hold Shift and it locks to horizontal, vertical, or 45ยฐ. No other PDF markup tool does this; you would normally have to go back to CAD.

User layers exported as DXF layers opened in CAD

Layers that leave the PDF and mean it

Draw on a user layer and it exports as a real DXF LAYER and a PDF OCG โ€” not a flattened raster, not a markup layer only one vendor can read. Your redlines arrive as usable geometry.

PE seal stamped on a structural sheet

Redline to sealed deliverable

Stamp a PE seal โ€” engineer, license, state, date โ€” as a real command, not a scanned signature pasted on. Assemble calc sheets, drawings and markups into one package. Bluebeam makes you bring your own stamp PDF.

Built for real drawing sets

Measurement totals in the listPer-page scale, then length and area totals live in the markups list โ€” filtered as you filter, not a separate export.
Select every similar markupSelect all of one type, colour, or status at once. Bluebeam's community has asked for this for years.
